My Ongoing Healing Journey
Erin shares her ongoing healing journey and how she overcame so many health challenges and obstacles, including Lyme Disease, Trichotillomania (hair-pulling disorder), and even surviving a deadly tornado, which those around her unfortunately did not survive. More recently, Erin was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a genetic connective tissue disorder, which she is currently trying to find ways to heal naturally.

ERIN ELIZABETH is a long time activist with a passion for the healing arts, working in that arena for a quarter century. She’s also a journalist writing breaking health news stories and speaking at large health conferences around the United States. Her site HealthNutNews.com is only several years old, but has already cracked the top 20 Natural Health sites worldwide.

Erin started out in her teens working for a green non-profit for four years during college. Later she trained with Bikram himself (the guru who started hot yoga) while living in Los Angeles, but gave up the too hot classes for Pilates, which she’s been doing now for 20 years.

Originally from Chicago, Erin now spends most of the year in Florida with her better half, Dr. Mercola. She enjoys exploring the latest raw restaurants, hiking, reading, animal rescue, edible landscape, green living, and investigative journalism.
