Dr. Philip Getson, D.O.

Thermography and Breast Health
Thermography is a form of infrared imaging using cameras that “read” the entire infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum and produce images. This is a totally safe, non-radiologic, non-invasive, painless test with absolutely no adverse effects and NO contraindications. It can be used at any age and provides a diagnostic tool far superior to others in early stages of some diseases. Dr. Getson along with his wife, Liesha Getson, share information on how thermography works, the imaging process, and how thermography can help you live a proactive lifestyle.

Is there retrospective or prospective studies which have proved that thermography is superior to ultrasound and mammopgraphy in detecting early breasr cancer? Some practitioners say based on there own experience with those modalities that it is not the case. Any well documented evidence?
